What are Soulborn books?
Our six Scripture companions are Grief, Anxiety, Anger, Courage, Love, and Hope. Each gathers King James Version passages around its theme, with reflection and room to write.
From the Beginning is an illustrated guide to the Bible’s story, with watercolor artwork, a connected narrative, and selected BSB passages.
Do I need to read the companions in order?
No. Each companion stands on its own, and there is no schedule or program to keep up with. You can open a book wherever you are, read what you need, and return another day.
Which Bible translations do the books use?
The six KJV companions use King James Version Scripture passages, presented unchanged. From the Beginning uses selected Berean Standard Bible (BSB) passages alongside a connected retelling of the Bible’s story.
Can I buy the companions as a set?
Yes. Choose the Grief, Anxiety & Anger set or the Courage, Love & Hope set. Each includes one copy of all three named companions. The books come as three separate paperbacks, without a box or slipcase.
What is the physical format?
The companions are physical paperbacks with black-and-white interiors. Each product page has its own format and page details.
From the Beginning is available in paperback and hardback. Both formats have 174 full-color pages and measure 190 × 240 mm. The watercolor spreads shown on our website belong to that book.
Can I order From the Beginning yet?

Are the books suitable as gifts?
The companions can be a thoughtful gift for someone going through a hard season, or for your own reading and reflection. Choose the theme that feels most relevant, or explore three together in a set.
How do prices and offers work?
Prices are shown in US dollars on each book page. Any automatic offer is applied in your cart and at checkout. Shipping and any applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.
Where do you ship, and how long does it take?
We currently ship within the United States. Our books are printed to order. Allow 3 to 5 business days before dispatch for paperback orders, or an estimated 5 to 7 business days for hardback orders and orders containing both formats. After processing, standard delivery is estimated to take 7 to 14 days. Production may take longer during busy periods; weekends and holidays are not business days.
Standard shipping is $4.99 for one physical book. Orders containing two or more physical books qualify for free US standard shipping, including either three-book set. The available rate and final charge are shown at checkout. Read the shipping policy for full details.
What if my book arrives damaged or has a printing problem?
Email contact@soulbornbooks.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photographs of the issue and packaging. After reviewing the problem, we will arrange an appropriate replacement or refund. See the return and refund policy.
Can I change, cancel, or return an order?
For a change or cancellation, contact us as soon as possible. We will try to help, but cannot guarantee a change after the order has been sent for fulfillment. We do not accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind. Our return and refund policy explains the details and preserves your applicable consumer rights.
Are the companions a substitute for counseling or crisis support?
No. The KJV companions are reflective and devotional books. They are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, and they are not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. Our Finding support page can help you find a place to begin.
